Frequently Asked Questions

Do you prepare the business return and the owner's personal return together?

Yes. That is how most of our business clients work with us. The K-1 or Schedule C, your owner pay, and your estimated payments all flow to your personal return, so we prepare both with the same file in front of us.

What does the annual review cover?

Once a year we go over the business and personal returns with you: changes in the business, your household, and the tax law, and whether owner pay, estimated payments, entity type, retirement contributions, or other choices should change for the coming year.

Which business entities do you work with?

S corporations (Form 1120-S), partnerships and multi-member LLCs (Form 1065), C corporations (Form 1120), and sole proprietors and single-member LLCs reporting on Schedule C.

Do you handle multi-state, international, and FBAR filings?

Yes. We regularly prepare Indiana and Kentucky returns, returns with foreign income and foreign tax credits, Form 8938, and the FBAR (FinCEN Form 114), which is filed separately from your tax return through FinCEN's BSA E-Filing System.

Do I have to live near Evansville?

No. Our office is in Evansville, Indiana, but our secure client portal lets us work with business owners and individuals anywhere in the United States.
